Stella Maris is the Carmelite Monastery atop Mount Carmel, founded during The Crusades.
Also on the Carmel is the “Horn of the Carmel” (in Arabic: Dir El Muhraka), an ancient place of Hebrew worship where the prophet Elijah is said to have confronted the worshippers of Ba'al. A fire then descended from heaven to consume the object of his sacrifice.
We will visit a Druze village and learn about their interesting culture and religious practices, and enjoy a zesty traditional meal in a local home.

In this beautiful northern city, we will see evidence of the hardships facing settlers in the early days of the modern state.
We will learn of Nili, a Jewish espionage network that assisted the United Kingdom in its fight against the Ottoman Empire in Palestine during World War I. And that tour wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the home of Sara Aharonson; she was their head of operations, and the driving force behind many other Jewish institutions in Palestine at the time.
Here we will visit the Baha'i World Centre with its famous majestic gardens and a spectacular view of Haifa bay.
We will walk along the Si'ach stream, a tiny lush oasis in the middle of this busy industrial metropolis, and also visit the Stella Maris Monastery where we will be treated to yet another outstanding vista.
