A tour of Jerusalem will leave any visitor impressed! It is a fascinating and diverse city of many contrasts and sacred to all 3 monotheistic religions.
We will walk along the walls of Jerusalem’s Old City and visit the Jewish, the Christian, the Armenian and the Muslim quarters there. The tour will take us on the rooftops over the marketplace and then under the city through layers of history through the Western Wall Tunnel. Under the ancient City of David we will go through the King Hizkiya tunnel and explore the intricate water system that sustained the inhabitants of Jerusalem during the numerous sieges in her history.
The Ministries of the state have their offices in modern Jerusalem; we will see the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), the seat of the Israeli Supreme Court, and other Government buildings.
We will visit the Israel Museum, which hosts a model of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period, as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls displayed at the Shrine of the Book. A tour of Jerusalem also necessitates a visit to the Holocaust Memorial at Yad VaShem.
We will tour the neighborhoods that connect the old and new parts of Jerusalem, as well as the neighborhoods that grew outside the walls of the Old City – each with its own distinct character.
We offer 'Selichot' tours in the month of Elul and 'Menorah' tours during Hanukkah.
