We will hear stories of Neve Tzedek, of the founding families who built their homes outside Jaffa before the First Aliya. Twenty years later came the founding of Ahuzat Bayt as a Zionist outpost in the middle of the sand dunes north of Jaffa; just the founding fathers of Tel Aviv and their dreams.
We will learn of the activities of the Second Aliya whose members were the first to settle in Tel Aviv. We will visit the spot where Israel first declared its statehood and hear the story that preceded this historic event.
